Villarin SJ, for the donation on 9 May 2019 of Wealth Securities Inc for Teacher Excellence under the Ateneo Science and Art of Learning and Teaching (SALT) Institute Program for Teacher Education.

The University’s Ateneo SALT Institute is an inter-disciplinary hub for teacher education and training, education research and advocacy, and education outreach. Established in 2017, the Ateneo SALT Institute is dedicated to improving the education of the Filipino teacher, in particular, teachers who intend to serve in the lesser-resourced schools like diocesan parochial schools and public schools.

The University is most grateful to Mr. Sy for this gift from Wealth Securities Inc and for being a valuable partner in the Ateneo mission of Jesuit formation and quality education.

For this gift for teacher formation for their continuing professional development, the Ateneo SALT Institute shall acknowledge Wilson and Florence Sy as Partners toward teacher excellence in the Teacher Gratitude Plaque to be prominently displayed in the Ateneo SALT Institute office at the 4th floor of the Arete’s George S.K. Ty Learning Innovation Wing.
