GT- Metro Foundation (GTMF), the family foundation of Metrobank Founder and Group Chairman Dr. George SK Ty, and the Ateneo de Manila University yesterday signed a Memorandum of Agreement giving scholarships to deserving Management Engineering students.
The MOA was signed by GTMF Executive Director Chito Sobrepena and Ateneo de Manila University President Fr Jett Villarin SJ.
Witnessing the signing were Rudy Ang, Acting Vice President for the Loyola Schools, Hector Guballa, Assistant Vice President of the Office of University Development, Dr Jumela Sarmiento, Director of the Office of Admission and Aid (OAA), Jolly Morata, OAA Assistant to the Director for Scholarships, Joyce Talag, Senior Program officer of GT Metro Foundation, and Cristine Bengson, Program Assistant of GT Metro Foundation.
GTMF is providing scholarships to 2 deserving Management Engineering students. The Metrobank Foundation has been giving scholarships to deserving Ateneo students since 1997. It also focuses more on health and environment projects.
